The GUHRING 9067730190500 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for demanding material removal in steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium. Built to a 3/4 inch diameter with a 1-1/2 inch length of cut and a 4 inch overall length, it runs four helical flutes at a 48-degree helix angle for aggressive chip evacuation and smooth finishes. A nano-A AlTiN PVD coating extends tool life in high-heat cutting environments. The 0.012 inch chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle adds an edge-breaking geometry that protects finished workpiece corners. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this tool in CNC machining centers where both roughing and finishing operations are performed in a single setup.
This end mill suits a wide range of milling operations including shouldering, slotting, ramp-down milling, helical interpolation, drill milling, plunging, and recessing. Its centercutting capability allows direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled pilot hole. The Weldon flat shank in a 3/4 inch diameter with h6 tolerance provides positive drive and minimal runout in side-lock toolholders. Primary target materials are steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium, with secondary capability in non-ferrous metals. This makes it well suited to aerospace, die-mold, and precision machining shops running multi-material production cycles.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers with standard 3/4 inch side-lock or Weldon-flat toolholders. Primary workpiece materials are steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium; secondary application in non-ferrous metals. Part of the GUHRING Series 6773.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the Weldon flat shank fully into the toolholder and torque the set screw against the flat per toolholder manufacturer specifications. Verify runout at the cutting diameter before beginning production cuts, and confirm appropriate cutting parameters for the workpiece material and machine horsepower.
