The GUHRING 9067730063500 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill engineered for high-performance metal removal in demanding machining environments. Built to the Series 6773 specification, it features a 1/4 inch diameter, a 3/4 inch length of cut, and a 48-degree high helix angle that promotes efficient chip evacuation and reduced cutting forces. The 0.004 inch chamfer width at a 45-degree chamfer angle protects corner integrity and extends tool life on precision workpieces. A PVD-applied nano-A AlTiN coating provides thermal resistance and surface hardness suitable for dry and semi-dry cutting. This is a single-end, centercutting tool appropriate for use by machinists and toolroom professionals.
This end mill is suited for milling steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium as its primary workpiece materials, with non-ferrous metals listed as secondary applications. Its centercutting geometry and right-hand flute direction support shouldering, slotting, ramp-down entry, helical interpolation, drill milling, and plunging and recessing operations. The 2.5 inch overall length and straight cylindrical 1/4 inch shank allow direct installation in standard collets and tool holders on CNC machining centers and manual mills. The normal pitch and four-flute configuration balance material removal rate with surface finish quality for both roughing and finishing passes.
Designed for machining steel, stainless steel, superalloys, and titanium as primary workpiece materials, with secondary compatibility for non-ferrous metals. Fits standard 1/4 inch collets and tool holders with a straight cylindrical shank tolerance of h6.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following shop safety procedures. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before loading or changing tooling. Seat the shank fully in the collet or tool holder to the recommended engagement depth and torque the retention mechanism per the tool holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before initiating the first cut to protect both the tool and the workpiece.
