The GUHRING 9067650060000 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance milling in steel, stainless steel, and superalloy and titanium applications. The 6 mm diameter cutter features four helical flutes with a 48-degree helix angle and a 45-degree chamfer angle at a 0.09 mm chamfer width. An AlTiN PVD coating — marketed under GUHRING's Super-A designation — provides heat resistance and extended tool life under demanding cutting conditions. The 15 mm length of cut and 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank make this a compact, rigid tool suited to precision cavity work and edge preparation.
This end mill is intended for use in CNC machining centers and milling machines operated by machinists and tooling professionals in job shop, aerospace, and general manufacturing environments. Rated for roughing and finishing operations, it supports shouldering, slotting, rampdown, helical interpolation, drill-mill, plunging, and recessing applications. The centercutting geometry enables direct plunge entry without a pre-drilled hole. Primary workpiece materials are steel, stainless steel, and superalloys and titanium, with non-ferrous metals listed as secondary.
Designed for use on CNC milling machines and machining centers with standard ER or straight-bore collet toolholding systems accepting a 6 mm shank. Rated for steel, stainless steel, superalloys, titanium, and non-ferrous metals per GUHRING Series 6765 application guidelines.
Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle fully stopped and machine in an e-stop or lockout-tagout state. Ensure the collet or toolholder bore is clean and free of chips before seating the 6 mm shank. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before engaging the workpiece, as excessive runout accelerates edge wear on small-diameter carbide tools. Follow the machine manufacturer's guidelines and applicable shop safety standards when setting feeds, speeds, and depth of cut.
