The GUHRING 9067570127000 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for high-performance metal removal in demanding shop environments. It carries a 1/2 inch cutting diameter, a 1 inch length of cut, and a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 0.005 inch chamfer width. The ultra fine micrograin carbide substrate is coated with a TiAlSiN (nano-Si) PVD coating, which supports extended tool life in abrasive and high-heat cutting conditions. This is a single-end, centercutting tool suited for machinists running steel, stainless, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium on CNC machining centers.
This end mill is built for shops handling shouldering, slotting, rampdown, helical interpolation, drill milling, plunging, and recessing operations. The variable helix geometry helps disrupt harmonic chatter during aggressive cuts. The Weldon flat shank provides positive drive engagement in tool holders where pullout resistance is required. At 3.5 inches overall length with a 1 inch reach, it fits standard vertical and horizontal machining center setups targeting ferrous and exotic alloy workpieces. Secondary suitability extends to non-ferrous metals.
Designed for use in CNC machining centers and manual mills with 1/2 inch collet or Weldon flat end mill holders. Rated for primary workpiece materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium (ISO material codes P, M, K, S), with secondary suitability for non-ferrous metals (code N). Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the Weldon flat against the set screw in the holder and torque the set screw per the tool holder manufacturer specification. Confirm runout with a dial indicator before engaging the cut, and verify spindle speed and feed rate against the machining data for the specific workpiece material.
