The GUHRING 9067570047600 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill designed for demanding metal removal in ferrous and non-ferrous applications. It carries a 3/16 inch diameter with a 3/8 inch length of cut and a 2 inch overall length. The 4-flute, single-end design features a variable helix geometry and a 45-degree chamfer angle with a 0.002 inch chamfer width. The tool is coated with GUHRING nano-Si TiAlSiN via PVD process, providing thermal and wear resistance in high-speed cutting. Centercutting capability allows plunging and helical interpolation. This tool is suited for machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in production or job-shop environments.
The 9067570047600 is built for shouldering, slotting, ramp-down, helical interpolation, drill milling, and plunging and recessing operations. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and superalloys and titanium. Secondary application covers non-ferrous metals. The ultra-fine micrograin carbide substrate and variable helix work together to reduce chatter and improve surface finish across both roughing and finishing passes. The straight cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance ensures secure clamping in standard collet or milling chuck setups.
Designed for use in machining steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, titanium, and non-ferrous metals. Suited for CNC vertical and horizontal milling centers using standard 3/16 inch collet or milling chuck toolholders with straight-cylindrical shank retention.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Confirm spindle runout is within acceptable limits before securing the shank in the collet or chuck, as excess runout will accelerate edge wear on a fine-geometry tool of this type. Set cutting parameters per the applicable feeds-and-speeds data for the workpiece material and coating combination. Do not exceed the rated length of cut when slotting, and ensure chip evacuation is adequate to prevent recutting.
