The GUHRING 9067570031700 is a solid carbide corner chamfer end mill engineered for high-performance material removal in demanding machining environments. Built on GUHRING Series 6757, this single-end mill features a 1/8 inch diameter, a 1/4 inch length of cut, and four flutes with a variable helix geometry that reduces chatter and improves surface finish. The 45-degree chamfer angle and 0.001 inch chamfer width make it well suited for edge breaking and chamfering operations. Applied with a TiAlSiN (nano-Si) PVD coating, the tool delivers extended wear resistance and thermal stability when cutting ferrous and exotic alloy materials.
This end mill is intended for use on CNC machining centers and high-speed milling machines where precision and tool life in tough materials are priorities. It handles shouldering, slotting, rampdown, helical interpolation, drill mill operations, plunging, and recessing. Primary workpiece materials include steel, stainless steel, cast iron, superalloys, and titanium. It also performs on non-ferrous metals as a secondary application. The straight cylindrical shank and compact 1-1/2 inch overall length suit close-tolerance work cells and tight-reach fixtures.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide corner chamfer end mill suitable for use with standard 1/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank tool holders on CNC milling machines. Primary workpiece material codes P, M, K, and S cover steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and superalloys including titanium; secondary code N covers non-ferrous metals.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the straight cylindrical shank fully in a compatible collet or end mill holder and torque to the holder manufacturer specification. Verify runout with a dial indicator before production cuts, as tool diameter tolerance is h10 and shank tolerance is h6.
