The GUHRING 9067370040000 is a solid carbide square end mill from the RF100 series, designed for high-performance milling across a wide range of workpiece materials. It features a 4-flute, single-end configuration with a variable helix angle ranging from 36 to 38 degrees, which reduces chatter and improves surface finish. The nano-Si coating provides enhanced wear resistance and lubricity, extending tool life in demanding cutting conditions. With centercutting capability, this end mill can perform plunge operations in addition to peripheral and slot milling. It is intended for use by machinists and CNC operators working in production and precision machining environments.
This end mill is suited for milling cast iron, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, titanium, and non-ferrous materials, corresponding to ISO material groups K, M, P, and S, with secondary suitability for group N. The 4-millimeter diameter and standard length configuration make it well matched for tight-tolerance features, small pockets, and finishing passes in both prototype and production runs. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 6-millimeter diameter provides secure collet clamping in standard toolholders.
Designed for use with workpiece materials in ISO groups K, M, P, and S, with secondary suitability for group N. Fits standard collet chucks and toolholders accepting a 6-millimeter straight-cylindrical shank with h6 tolerance.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC setup technician. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before changing tooling. Seat the shank fully into the collet or toolholder to the recommended gauge line depth to prevent pullout under cutting loads. Verify runout with a dial indicator before beginning production cuts, as excessive runout will accelerate wear on a fine-diameter carbide tool.
