The GUHRING 9064080022500 is a solid carbide micro drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding metalworking applications. Built from submicron-grade carbide and coated with TiAlN, it delivers extended tool life in high-heat, abrasive cutting conditions. The 135-degree faceted point reduces thrust force and improves centering accuracy at entry. Through-coolant capability directs cutting fluid directly to the cutting edge, managing heat and chip evacuation in deep-hole operations. With an overall length of 62 millimeters and a flute length of 25 millimeters, this drill is sized for tight-clearance setups where standard-length drills cannot reach or fit.
This drill is engineered for production and maintenance machining environments where hole quality and dimensional accuracy are critical. Primary workpiece materials include cast iron, stainless steel, and steel. Secondary workpiece materials include aluminum and titanium alloy. The straight-cylindrical shank with a 4-millimeter shank diameter seats cleanly in collet chucks and precision drill chucks on CNC machining centers, VMCs, and drill presses. The 8xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports drilling to a maximum depth of 22.75 millimeters, making it suitable for through-holes and deeper blind-hole applications in production runs.
