Compatibility

Installation Notes

Installation and tool changes should be performed by qualified machinists with the spindle fully stopped and locked out per machine-specific lockout/tagout procedures. Seat the straight shank fully in the collet or chuck and verify runout before starting a cut. Refer to the machine manufacturer and GUHRING cutting data guidelines for appropriate feed rates and spindle speeds; do not exceed the drill's rated maximum drilling depth of 18.60 mm per pass without retracting to clear chips. Coolant supply should be confirmed active before initiating a drilling cycle when using the through-coolant feature.
