The GUHRING 9055190047600 is a cobalt jobber length drill bit with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, built for productive drilling in a range of metallic and non-metallic materials. It measures 3/16 inches (0.1875 inches) in diameter with an overall length of 86 mm and a flute length of 52 mm. The bit is manufactured to DIN 338 standards and carries an M35 cobalt material grade, giving it the heat resistance needed for harder alloys. A four-facet split point and web-thinned, tapered web design reduce walking and lower entry thrust. This is a precision cutting tool installed by machinists, maintenance technicians, and trade professionals working with metals, plastics, and composite materials.
The Series 5519 bit is suited for general-purpose jobber length drilling in aluminum, steel, stainless, and similar materials indicated by material codes K, M, N, and P. The straight-cylindrical shank accepts standard drill chucks without modification, making it compatible with benchtop drill presses, hand drills, and CNC machining centers running appropriate speeds and feeds for cobalt tooling. Maximum drilling depth is 1.766 inches (44.86 mm). The right-hand spiral flute efficiently evacuates chips during through-hole and blind-hole operations.
Designed as a DIN 338 jobber length replacement drill bit for use in standard 3/16-inch drill chucks across a drill bit size range of 0.1500 to 0.2000 decimal inches; compatible with workpiece material categories K, M, N, and P as defined by the manufacturer.
Installation and use of this bit should be performed by machinists or qualified trade technicians familiar with proper speeds, feeds, and chip-clearance practices for cobalt tooling. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank fully in the chuck and verify concentricity before operation. Use appropriate cutting fluid or coolant compatible with the workpiece material to maintain edge life, noting that this bit does not feature through-coolant capability. Inspect the cutting edges and TiN coating for wear regularly; do not attempt to regrind TiN-coated surfaces without proper equipment.
