The GUHRING 9055110190500 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit sized at 3/4 inch (19.05 mm) diameter, designed for high-performance hole-making in demanding materials. It features a 140-degree split point for self-centering entry and reduced thrust, a right-hand regular spiral flute configuration, and FIREX multi-layer coating for extended tool life in abrasive applications. The web-thinned geometry improves chip evacuation and lowers cutting forces. Coolant-through capability makes it well-suited for CNC machining centers and automated drilling operations where heat management is critical. Machinists, tool-and-die workers, and CNC operators working in production environments are the primary users.
This jobber drill is built for cutting steel, cast iron, and stainless steel in industrial and production machining settings. The coolant-through design supports high-feed, high-speed drilling cycles on horizontal and vertical machining centers. The split point geometry reduces walking on entry, making it practical for applications where a pilot hole is not feasible. Its specialized carbide grade and FIREX coating allow it to maintain edge integrity in interrupted cuts and work-hardening materials such as austenitic stainless steels. Suitable for use in both job shop and high-volume production environments.
Designed for drilling steel, cast iron, and stainless steel workpieces. Suitable for use in CNC machining centers and manual drill presses equipped with coolant-through spindle capability. Verify spindle collet or chuck capacity accommodates a 3/4 inch shank before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or CNC operator. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe, locked-out state before loading or changing the bit. Seat the shank fully and evenly in the collet or chuck and torque the retention hardware per the machine tool manufacturer specifications. When using the coolant-through feature, confirm coolant pressure and flow rate are compatible with the tool and machine before initiating a cut.
