The 5/32 inch (0.1562 inch) diameter shank is straight-cylindrical at 0.2362 inch shank diameter, and the overall length is 74 millimeters (approximately 2.91 inches). It is self-centering and web-thinned for reduced thrust force at entry. This drill bit is engineered for primary use in cast iron and steel workpiece materials, making it well-suited for production drilling on ferrous components in fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and manufacturing lines.
