The GUHRING 9041070195050 is a replaceable-tip drill body designed for precision hole-making in metal and alloy workpieces. Built on the Series 4107 platform with a 3xD HT 800 WP toolholder style, this drill accepts HT 800 WP insert tips and delivers consistent bore diameter across a range of 0.768 to 0.787 inches. The steel body features through-coolant capability, directing cutting fluid directly to the cutting edge to manage heat and chip evacuation at depth. With an overall length of 146 millimeters and a 3/4 inch shank, it is suited for CNC machining centers and production drilling operations where insert interchangeability reduces downtime.
This drill body is used in industrial and production machining environments where repeatable hole geometry is required. The 3xD depth rating supports a maximum drill depth of 63.7 millimeters (2.508 inches), placing it in the 60.00 to 80.00 millimeter depth range class. Typical applications include structural drilling, component manufacturing, and high-volume production runs where through-coolant delivery and replaceable-tip convenience reduce tool changeover time. Installation and operation are performed by CNC machinists and tooling specialists in shop environments.
Designed for use with HT 800 WP replaceable insert tips within the GUHRING Series 4107 platform. Compatible insert style is HT 800 WP as specified by the manufacturer.
Installation is performed by qualified CNC machinists or tooling technicians. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the tool magazine is in a safe state before mounting or removing the drill body. Verify coolant supply lines are properly connected to the spindle to activate through-coolant flow before running at depth. Follow the toolholder manufacturer torque and clamping specifications for the 3/4 inch shank interface; do not exceed the toolholder rated speed or depth of cut without consulting the insert manufacturer feed and speed tables.
