The GUHRING 9039070127000 is a spiral point tap designed for right-hand through-hole threading in 1/2-13 UNC applications. Built from High-Speed Steel-E-PM (powder metallurgy HSS) with a TiN coating, it delivers extended tool life and reduced friction in demanding materials. The plug chamfer provides a gradual lead-in suitable for through-hole threading operations. With 4 flutes and an H5/H6 thread limit, it produces 2B class of fit threads to tight dimensional tolerances. Overall length is 3.382 inches with a thread length of 63/64 inches. This tap is used by machinists and maintenance tradespeople working in production or repair threading operations.
