The GUHRING 9031890095200 is a solid carbide square end mill designed for precision milling in metal fabrication, tool rooms, and production machining environments. Part of the Series 3189 product line, it features a FIREX finish coating that improves heat resistance and tool life in demanding cutting applications. With a 3/8 inch cutting diameter, 4 flutes, and a 20-degree helix angle, this end mill delivers efficient chip evacuation and smooth surface finishes in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is centercutting capable, allowing plunge entry, and is built to right-hand cut with right-hand flute orientation. Machinists and tool room operators rely on this geometry for contouring, slotting, and profile milling work.
This end mill is suited for use in CNC machining centers, knee mills, and manual milling machines operating in job shops, aerospace component shops, die and mold operations, and general metalworking environments. The regular-length configuration with a 7/8 inch length of cut and 2-1/2 inch overall length fits standard tool holders and collets sized for 3/8 inch shank tooling. The fine pitch flute spacing supports cleaner cuts in tighter tolerances. It is appropriate for professionals performing face milling, peripheral milling, slotting, and step milling operations.
Designed as an OEM-style solid carbide end mill for use with standard 3/8 inch collets and end mill holders in CNC machining centers and manual mills. Part of the GUHRING Series 3189 product line.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists familiar with rotating cutting tool safety. Ensure the milling machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the tool from the holder. Use a properly sized collet or end mill holder rated for the 3/8 inch shank diameter and torque the retention system according to the machine manufacturer specifications. Inspect the cutting edges for chips or wear before each use and do not exceed recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material.
