The GUHRING 9026010046200 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for precision hole-making in a range of workpiece materials. Ground to wire gauge size No. 14 (0.1819 inches), it features a 130-degree split point for accurate self-starting and reduced thrust. The parabolic flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, making it well-suited for applications where chip packing is a concern. The bright, uncoated carbide surface is appropriate for use in non-ferrous and non-metallic materials. Submicron carbide grade construction provides the rigidity and edge retention required for consistent hole quality in production or maintenance environments. Installation is performed by qualified machinists and tooling technicians.
This drill bit is rated for use in aluminum and similar non-ferrous and plastic workpiece materials, consistent with material codes K, N, and P classifications. With an overall length of 3.25 inches and a flute length of 2.125 inches, it fits standard drill chucks and collet holders accepting a 0.1819-inch straight-cylindrical shank. The 8xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports drilling depths up to approximately 1.971 inches. It is built to ANSI standards and belongs to GUHRING Series 2601, a line intended for general-purpose jobber-length carbide drilling applications.
Designed as a Series 2601 ANSI-standard jobber-length carbide drill bit suitable for use in standard drill chucks and collet holders accepting a 0.1819-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Rated for aluminum and other K, N, and P classification workpiece materials.
This bit is installed and operated by machinists or trained tooling technicians using a drill press, CNC machining center, or hand drill with an appropriate chuck or collet. Ensure the spindle and workpiece are secured before operation. Verify chuck or collet runout is within acceptable limits to preserve cutting edge integrity and hole tolerance. Carbide tooling is brittle and should not be used in interrupted cuts or impact-style drilling applications without confirming suitability.
