The GUHRING 9007320070000 is a solid carbide jobber length drill bit designed for general-purpose drilling in aluminum and other non-ferrous materials. It carries a 7 mm diameter, a 118-degree faceted point angle, and a right-hand spiral flute configuration. The bit is web-thinned for reduced thrust and cleaner entry, and the bright uncoated finish makes it well suited for aluminum applications where coating adhesion to the workpiece is a concern. Machinists and tool-and-die professionals install this bit in standard drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power equipment requiring a straight-cylindrical shank.
This Series 732 drill bit fits production and maintenance machining environments where consistent hole quality in aluminum, brass, copper, and similar non-ferrous workpiece materials is required. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio provides adequate chip clearance for moderate-depth holes. With an overall length of 109 mm and a flute length of 69 mm, it handles drilling depths up to 58.50 mm in a single pass without tool changes. The h8 diameter tolerance ensures a consistent, accurate fit in standard collets and drill chucks.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement or production drill bit for use in standard drill chucks and collet holders accepting a 7 mm straight-cylindrical shank, conforming to DIN specification within the Series 732 product line.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians familiar with cutting tool selection and machine setup. Ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the bit from the chuck or collet. Verify chuck or collet runout is within acceptable limits before use, as excessive runout accelerates carbide tool wear and can cause premature breakage. Follow the machine manufacturer and tooling guidelines for appropriate feed rate and spindle speed for the workpiece material.
