The drill measures 0.0110 inches in diameter and 0.9840 inches overall length, making it suited for shallow, small-diameter bore work. A 118-degree faceted point angle with web-thinned geometry reduces entry force and improves centering. Right-hand spiral flutes evacuate chips efficiently in the small bore. Always bring the spindle to full speed before contact with the workpiece and use appropriate cutting fluid or mist coolant for the workpiece material. Replace the tool at the first sign of point wear to avoid bore oversizing or tool breakage in the part.
