The substrate is cobalt high-speed steel, and the cutting edges receive a TiN coating to extend tool life under heat and abrasion. At 0.984 inches overall length with a spiral flute geometry and a faceted 118-degree point, the bit is designed for controlled entry and chip evacuation in tight-tolerance applications.
