The GUHRING 9003360022600 is a taper length cobalt drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. Built to DIN 340 standards, this bit features a 130-degree split point and a parabolic flute geometry with web thinning for improved chip evacuation and reduced thrust. At 0.0890 inches in diameter, it is sized to wire gauge #43 and delivers a flute-length-to-diameter ratio of 10xD, making it well-suited for deeper-than-standard hole applications. The cylindrical shank ensures consistent seating in standard drill chucks and collet holders. Licensed HVAC, mechanical, and industrial technicians working with ferrous and specialty metals will find this bit a reliable production tool.
This drill bit is engineered for use in cast iron, hardened materials, stainless steel, and steel. The parabolic flute design promotes efficient chip clearance during deep-hole drilling, reducing the need for peck cycles in many applications. With a maximum drilling depth of 2.1890 inches, an overall length of 3-17/32 inches, and a flute length of 2-5/16 inches, this bit covers typical taper-length drilling requirements in fabrication, maintenance, and production environments. Right-hand cut geometry is standard for conventional drill press and CNC spindle use.
Designed as an OEM-style taper length drill bit per DIN 340 specification, compatible with standard cylindrical-shank drill chucks and collet systems accepting a 0.0890-inch shank diameter. Rated for use in cast iron, hardened materials, stainless steel, and steel per manufacturer material application data.
Install in a drill press, CNC machining center, or hand drill with a chuck rated for the 0.0890-inch cylindrical shank. Ensure the workpiece is properly fixtured and the spindle is at the correct RPM and feed rate for the workpiece material before drilling. Power down and de-energize the machine before changing or inspecting the bit. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit; use external coolant or cutting fluid as required by the workpiece material and shop procedure.
