The GUHRING 9002350110000 is an extra length high speed steel drill bit engineered for deep hole drilling applications in metalworking and machining environments. Built to DIN 1869 standards, it carries an 11.00 mm (0.4331 inch) diameter with a total overall length of 280.00 mm (approximately 11.02 inches) and a flute length of 195.00 mm (approximately 7.68 inches). The 118-degree drill point angle and web-thinned tip geometry reduce entry force and improve chip evacuation. Right-hand cutting with a regular spiral flute pattern, an oxide finish, and an h8 diameter tolerance make this bit suitable for production-level accuracy in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. It is sold individually.
This drill bit is designed for deep hole drilling in cast iron, steel, and aluminum — materials common in general-purpose machining, tool rooms, maintenance shops, and manufacturing cells. The 10xD flute-to-diameter ratio supports drilling depths up to 178.50 mm (approximately 7.03 inches), making it appropriate where standard-length bits cannot reach. The straight-cylindrical shank fits conventional drill chucks and collet holders found on drill presses, milling machines, and CNC machining centers. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and maintenance technicians are the primary users.
Designed as an OEM-specification replacement or direct-use drill bit for metalworking operations requiring extended reach. Primary workpiece materials are cast iron and steel; secondary workpiece material is aluminum. No coolant-through capability — suitable for standard non-coolant-through toolholding setups.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or tooling technicians familiar with rotating cutting tools and machine tool operation. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank firmly in a properly sized drill chuck or collet before operation, and verify runout before drilling. Power down and de-energize the machine before changing tooling. Do not exceed the maximum recommended drilling depth of 178.50 mm without appropriate chip-clearing cycles.
