The GUARDIAN FALL PROTECTION 2422 is a short body ladder jack designed for use with two consecutive ladder rungs on extension and straight ladders. MIG welded and riveted construction provides the structural rigidity needed for scaffold plank support at elevation. The jack adjusts to fit both round and D-rung ladders and can be mounted on either the inside or outside face of the ladder. Typical users include painting contractors, siding installers, and maintenance technicians who need a stable working platform without setting up full scaffold. When paired with a second ladder jack, the system accommodates planking up to 18 inches wide.
The 2422 ladder jack is suited for residential and light commercial applications including exterior painting, siding installation, window repair, and general facade maintenance. It sets up over two consecutive rungs and can be deployed on either ladder face, giving installers flexibility on tight jobsites. Use in combination with a paired ladder jack and planking in full compliance with applicable OSHA regulations governing ladder jack scaffold systems.
Designed for use with extension and straight ladders featuring round or D-rung profiles. Installs over two consecutive rungs. Intended to be used as part of a paired ladder jack scaffold system in accordance with applicable OSHA ladder jack scaffold regulations.
Ladder jack scaffolding must be installed and used by qualified workers in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart L requirements for ladder jack scaffold systems. Inspect the ladder and jack for damage before each use and confirm the ladder is secured at the top and bottom before loading the platform. Never exceed the rated load capacity of the scaffold system. Planking must be secured and the full paired jack assembly must be in place before any worker steps onto the platform.
