Apply thread sealant tape to the male NPT fitting on the supply line per standard practice before threading the gun inlet hand-tight, then wrench-tighten to seat the connection without over-torquing brass threads. Always direct airflow away from personnel during use and wear appropriate eye protection in accordance with applicable shop safety standards.
