The GREENLEE 30484 is a multiple strain relief grip used to secure and protect wire and cable bundles at conduit entry points, panel knockouts, and enclosure fittings. Strain relief grips prevent mechanical stress from being transferred to electrical connections, reducing the risk of conductor damage and intermittent faults. This type of fitting is a standard tool-trade component installed by licensed electricians and wire-pulling crews during rough-in and finish electrical work on both commercial and residential projects.
The 30484 is suited for installations where multiple conductors or cables need to be secured at a single entry point. Typical applications include panel boards, junction boxes, and enclosures where bundled wire runs exit or enter. The multiple-grip design allows a single fitting to handle several cables simultaneously, reducing the number of individual fittings required at high-density termination points.
Designed as an OEM-style strain relief fitting for use with standard electrical enclosures, panel boards, and junction boxes requiring multiple-cable entry strain relief.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with NEC requirements for strain relief and cable securing. De-energize all circuits and lock out the panel before beginning work at any enclosure entry point. Ensure the fitting is fully seated and secured in the knockout before pulling cables through. Do not over-tighten clamping components, as this may damage cable jacket insulation.
