The GPK PRODUCTS H959-0006 is a 6-inch SDR-35 PVC 11-1/4-degree elbow fitting designed for solvent weld installation in gravity sewer and drain systems. Molded in an SDR-26 mold and rated to SDR-35 wall specifications, this elbow provides a shallow directional change in underground drainage runs where minimal deflection is required. At 2.07 pounds, the fitting is sized for large-diameter residential and light commercial sewer lines. Plumbers and pipefitters use this elbow when routing 6-inch main sewer lines around grade obstructions or making long-radius direction changes without excessive deflection.
This elbow is suited for underground gravity-flow sewer and storm drain applications using 6-inch PVC pipe. The 11-1/4-degree angle is commonly used in straight-run corrections, slight offsets, and shallow bends in main sewer laterals and building drain tie-ins. It is intended for use where PVC solvent weld joints are required per local plumbing code, typically in trench-installed piping at residential, municipal, and light commercial job sites.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local amendments. Solvent weld joints require proper PVC primer and cement applied per the cement manufacturer instructions and local code requirements. Ensure the pipe and fitting socket are clean, dry, and free of debris before applying primer and cement. Do not apply cement in temperatures below 40 degrees F without using a cold-weather-rated formula.
