It uses an ECM blower motor running at up to 1,200 RPM for variable-speed airflow, delivering between 710 and 1,015 cubic feet per minute in heating mode. The two-stage gas valve allows low-fire operation at 28,000 BTU/h input, reducing short-cycling and improving comfort. This unit is ENERGY STAR certified, ANSI certified, ETL listed, and FER compliant. Licensed HVAC technicians install this furnace as part of a ducted forced-air system in residential or light commercial applications.

It supports ComfortBridge Technology communication for use in communicating system setups. The Non-NOx burner design meets low-emissions requirements in applicable jurisdictions. A single 16x25 filter services the unit.
