The GOLD EAGLE 22206 is a gasoline fuel stabilizer formulated to keep stored fuel fresh for up to 24 months. Sold in a 10 oz bottle, it is designed for use in small engines, generators, collector cars, boats, and bulk fuel containers. The additive treats 2.5 gallons of fuel per 1 oz of product. It works by preventing the oxidation and degradation that begins to affect untreated gasoline after approximately 60 days. Effective in all gasoline types, including ethanol-blended and non-ethanol fuels, it is a practical solution for any technician or equipment owner managing seasonal or long-term storage.
This stabilizer is suited for residential and light commercial applications where equipment sits unused for extended periods. Common use cases include winterizing lawn equipment, storing portable generators, laying up boats, and maintaining fuel quality in collector or infrequently driven vehicles. It eliminates the need to drain the fuel system before storage by keeping the carburetor, fuel injectors, and fuel lines free of gum and varnish deposits. It also provides corrosion and rust protection throughout the fuel system during the storage period.
Designed for use in all gasoline-fueled equipment including small engines, portable generators, boats, and collector cars. Effective in both ethanol-blended and non-ethanol gasoline. Suitable for bulk gas storage containers as well as individual equipment fuel tanks.
Add the stabilizer directly to the fuel tank or bulk storage container before or shortly after filling with fresh gasoline, following the 1 oz per 2.5 gallon treat rate. Run the engine briefly after adding the product to ensure the treated fuel circulates through the carburetor, fuel lines, and injectors before storage. Always follow equipment manufacturer guidelines for fuel system storage procedures. No tools are required for application.
