The GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL B3157555 is a three-shelf mobile shelving truck built for demanding wet, dry, cooler, and freezer environments. The unit features a Poly-Green finish - a green powder-epoxy applied over zinc-chromate electro-plating - engineered to resist temperature extremes and moisture. NEX GARD antimicrobial protection is integrated into the epoxy coating to inhibit bacteria, mold, and mildew that can cause odors and product degradation. The open wire shelf design promotes air and light circulation while minimizing dust accumulation. At 50.35 pounds, the assembled unit measures 30 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 69 inches tall. Licensed trade professionals and facilities maintenance staff are the primary installers.
This shelf truck is well suited for commercial kitchens, food service prep areas, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, wet storage rooms, and similar environments where corrosion resistance and sanitation matter. The open-rack configuration supports stock rotation and visual inventory checks without removing product. Four polyurethane swivel casters allow the unit to be repositioned on the floor as workflow demands change. The NSF approval confirms suitability for both wet and dry food-service applications.
Designed as a freestanding mobile shelving unit for wet, dry, cooler, and freezer storage environments where NSF-rated, corrosion-resistant shelving is required.
Assembly requires no special tools; shelves snap onto posts using the included plastic sleeve connectors and adjust at 1-inch increments along the post height. Place the unit on a level floor surface before loading to ensure caster stability and safe mobility. Verify that caster brakes, if used, are fully engaged before loading or unloading shelves in a cooler or wet environment. Follow applicable local health department and food-safety codes when installing in regulated food-service or food-storage areas.
