The GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL 708863MRD is a configurable electronic-locking mobile bin cabinet built for industrial and shop environments where secure, organized parts storage is a daily requirement. Constructed from all-welded 16-gauge steel with a durable gray powder coat finish, this cabinet measures 48 inches wide by 24 inches deep by 85 inches tall and ships with three heavy-duty shelves, each rated to 1,100 pounds, adjustable on 2-inch increments. Access is controlled by a digital 3-point locking system with an ergonomic keypad and a programming bypass master key included. Four 5-inch casters allow the unit to be repositioned across a shop floor without tools. It is typically installed by facilities maintenance staff, warehouse teams, or tool crib operators.
This cabinet suits industrial, commercial, and manufacturing environments where mobile, lockable storage is needed for tools, hardware, fasteners, or consumable supplies. The unit arrives equipped with 156 hanging bins in two sizes: small bins at 5-3/8 inches long by 4-1/8 inches wide by 3 inches high, and large bins at 14-3/4 inches long by 8-1/4 inches wide by 7 inches high. Both sizes mount on interior bin brackets. The cabinet is configurable with a full line of compatible accessories including mobile trays, shelf packs, drawer kits, pegboard kits, wardrobe bars, roll-out work surfaces, janitorial and combination kits, charging kits, and additional hanging bins.
Designed to accept GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL compatible accessories including mobile trays, shelf packs, drawer kits, pegboard kits, wardrobe bars, roll-out work surfaces, janitorial and combination kits, charging kits, and hanging bins from the same configurable cabinet accessory line.
This cabinet is moved into position using its integrated casters and requires no permanent anchoring for standard use, though anchoring to a wall or floor may be required by local safety codes in seismic zones or high-traffic areas. Ensure the floor surface is rated for the combined weight of the cabinet, its contents, and the unit itself before loading shelves to full capacity. Lock programming should be completed and the master key stored securely before placing the unit into service. No power connection is required for caster-based mobility, but verify keypad battery status per the manufacturer documentation before commissioning.
