The GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL 412346 is a bolted teardrop pallet rack starter unit built for heavy-duty industrial storage. The unit measures 96 inches wide, 48 inches deep, and 96 inches tall, with a 7,160-pound shelf capacity and a 33,000-pound total rated capacity. Uprights are constructed from 13-gauge steel and beams from 16-gauge steel, making this rack suitable for warehouses, retail stockrooms, and manufacturing facilities. The bolted teardrop upright frames arrive partially assembled, reducing setup time while allowing flexible configuration as storage needs change.
This starter rack is designed for industrial and commercial storage environments where heavy pallet loads are handled routinely. The teardrop upright design supports height adjustment at 2-inch increments, giving facility managers the ability to reconfigure shelf spacing without replacing components. The 1-5/8-inch step beam profile accommodates crossbars and decking materials. Self-engaging spring-loaded safety clips and 3-button stud connectors secure beams to uprights. Uprights ship knocked-down to reduce freight costs and storage space during transit. Capacity ratings are based on 36-inch beam shelf spacing. If seismic conditions apply, capacity verification by a seismic engineer is required before installation.
Designed as an OEM-style starter unit for bolted teardrop pallet rack systems. Compatible add-on bay units and replacement components designed for this bolted teardrop frame profile may be used to expand the system.
Installation should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with industrial pallet rack systems and applicable local building codes. Power down or remove any nearby energized equipment before beginning work in the installation area. Anchor the footplates to the floor per local structural requirements; seismic zones require review by a licensed seismic engineer before the system is put into service. Do not exceed rated shelf or total system capacities under any load condition.
