The GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL 244192B is a heavy-duty packing workbench designed for industrial and commercial work environments. It ships unassembled with a powder coat finish and is engineered for straightforward assembly. The work surface is a 1-5/8-inch-thick plastic laminate square edge top measuring 72 inches wide by 30 inches deep. Legs are constructed from 2-inch square 14-gauge steel tubing and adjust in height from 29-7/8 inches to 41-3/4 inches in 2-inch increments. The leg assembly is tested to a 5,000-pound capacity, ensuring even load distribution across the frame. This bench is installed by facilities maintenance personnel, warehouse crews, and light industrial technicians.
This workbench is suited for packing stations, shipping departments, light assembly lines, and general industrial use in both residential garage shops and commercial facilities. The included riser kit extends vertical storage and organization options above the work surface. The re-wired power apron integrates directly into the bench frame and delivers electrical access for power tools and equipment at the point of use. Adjustable leveling floor glides and foot plates allow the bench to sit level on uneven floors and can be anchored to the floor surface where code or facility policy requires.
Designed as a freestanding industrial packing workbench suitable for standard warehouse, distribution, and light manufacturing environments where a powered work surface and riser kit are required.
Assembly is performed without specialized trade licensing but should follow the included instructions carefully before applying any load. Before connecting the power apron to a facility circuit, confirm the branch circuit rating meets NEC requirements for the intended load. Power down or lock out the circuit before making any wiring connections to the apron. Anchor the floor foot plates to the floor surface when required by facility safety policy or local code.
