The GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL 183988 is an adjustable-height workbench with a maple butcher block top, built for demanding shop and industrial environments. The solid hardwood top measures 72 inches by 30 inches and is 1.75 inches thick. The wood is kiln-dried, electronically cured, and sealed with a mineral oil protectant, producing a smooth, dense surface that handles repeated impact and heavy use. Steel legs and structural components are undercoated for rust resistance and finished with a scratch-resistant gray powder coat. Maintenance technicians, fabricators, and shop personnel across manufacturing, MRO, and production settings are the primary users.
This workbench fits a wide range of light industrial and commercial workshop applications, including assembly, inspection, parts staging, and general bench work. The leg height adjusts from 27.875 inches to 35.375 inches in 1-inch increments without tools, allowing the same bench to accommodate different worker heights or task types. Front and rear duplex knockouts on the legs accept either a hard-wired electrical outlet or an optional plug-in outlet strip that mounts without wiring. The safety-edge rolled front profile eliminates sharp corners that could damage parts or cause discomfort during extended leaning contact.
Designed as a freestanding adjustable-height workbench suitable for general industrial, shop, and maintenance environments where a hardwood top work surface is required.
Assembly requires standard hand tools; mounting hardware and a bench stringer are included. Leg height adjustment should be completed before final tightening of all fasteners. If installing a hard-wired electrical outlet in the duplex knockout, a qualified electrician must perform the wiring in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. Power down any connected equipment and disconnect electrical sources before servicing or reconfiguring the bench.
