The GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL 183427A is a mobile workbench built for demanding shop and facility environments. The work surface is a kiln-dried maple butcher block top, electronically glued and sanded to 1.75 inches thick, then finished with a penetrating mineral oil for durability and a clean appearance. The fixed-height design holds the work surface at 40 inches above the floor. Flared legs are reinforced with cross bracing for added rigidity, and the entire steel frame is finished in scratch-resistant gray baked enamel. Licensed trades and maintenance crews in industrial, manufacturing, and facilities settings install and use this bench as a primary work surface.
This workbench is suited for industrial shops, maintenance departments, and light manufacturing environments where a mobile, heavy-duty work surface is required. The 48 x 30 inch top provides a generous layout area for assembly, repair, or fabrication tasks. Mobility is handled by four 5-inch casters - two rigid and two swivel with brakes - allowing the bench to be positioned and locked in place as needed. Flared legs include removable duplex knock-outs that accept standard electrical outlets, though outlets are not included.
Designed as a freestanding mobile workbench for general industrial, shop, and facilities maintenance use. Electrical outlet compatibility depends on standard duplex outlet dimensions; outlets are field-supplied and not included with this unit.
This workbench ships unassembled and requires assembly before use. A licensed electrician should install any electrical outlets into the leg knock-outs in accordance with applicable NEC requirements. Verify caster brakes are fully engaged before placing the bench under load. Inspect all cross-brace fasteners and hardware connections after assembly and periodically during use.
