Product Description

The GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL 130CP13 is a particle wood deck shelf designed to create a solid, load-bearing surface within compatible shelving systems. Measuring 36 inches wide by 15 inches deep and 0.625 inches thick, this panel installs as a replacement or supplemental deck layer on standard shelving units. It is well suited for warehouse, stockroom, retail, and light industrial environments where a firm platform is needed to support merchandise or stored goods. Weighing 8.5 pounds, it is manageable for a single installer and does not require specialized tooling to position.

This wood deck panel is intended for use in shelving applications where a rigid, flat surface is required across a bay or shelf level. Typical installations include warehouse racking, stockroom shelving, and retail display fixtures. It is commonly installed by facilities maintenance staff, warehouse personnel, or general contractors configuring storage systems. The brown finish blends with standard industrial shelving finishes and requires no additional surface treatment before use.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by facilities maintenance or warehouse staff and requires no specialized trade licensing. Before placing or replacing a deck panel, ensure any stored load on the affected shelf level has been removed and the shelving frame is stable. Standard hand tools may be needed if the shelving system uses retaining clips or fasteners to secure deck panels. Verify that the shelving frame is rated for the intended load before returning merchandise to the shelf.
