The GLOBAL CNC INDUSTRIES 52.3016 is a VDI static tool axis holder designed for CNC turning centers equipped with VDI tooling interfaces. Built to E2 VDI form standards, this holder provides a 60mm projection and accepts a 30mm shank diameter. The through-coolant design routes cutting fluid directly to the tool tip, supporting extended tool life and cleaner chip evacuation during turning operations. Licensed CNC machinists and tool setup technicians install this holder as part of a static (non-driven) turret station where axial tool positioning is required.
This holder is suited for use in static turret positions on CNC lathes and turning centers that accept VDI-style toolholders. The E2 VDI form designation indicates compatibility with standard VDI interface geometry. The through-coolant feature makes this holder well-suited for applications involving difficult-to-machine materials or deep-reach turning operations where coolant delivery at the cutting zone is critical. It is appropriate for both production shop and job-shop environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or upgrade holder for CNC turning centers equipped with VDI-interface turrets accepting static axial toolholders in the 30mm shank diameter class.
Installation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or tool setup technician. Power down and lock out the machine before accessing the turret. Ensure the turret station is clean and free of chips or debris before seating the holder. Torque retention screws per the machine tool builder specifications, and verify through-coolant port alignment before resuming operation.
