The GLOBAL CEP96132 is a 100-foot, 12/3 SJTW string light designed for temporary power and lighting on job sites, in warehouses, and in other demanding work environments. The cord runs at 120 volts with a 15-amp rating and delivers up to 150 watts of capacity across 10 evenly spaced sockets. The SJTW jacket is rated for outdoor use, offering resistance to moisture, oil, and abrasion. Plastic guards come pre-assembled on each socket, protecting the lamp and the connection point from incidental contact and debris. This unit is cUL listed, confirming it meets applicable safety standards for both US and Canadian installations.
This string light is a standard choice for electricians and general contractors running temporary lighting during rough-in, inspection, or construction phases. The 10 sockets are spaced 10 feet apart along the 100-foot cord, providing consistent light distribution across a full run. NEMA 5-15 molded devices are used at each socket position, making standard incandescent or LED work-light bulbs a direct fit. The yellow SJTW cord is easy to spot on a busy job site and holds up to foot traffic and repeated handling across a season of use.
Designed for use with standard NEMA 5-15 base bulbs in temporary string-light applications on residential and commercial construction sites. Compatible with 120-volt circuits protected at 15 amps.
Temporary string lights of this type are installed by licensed electricians or qualified contractors following NEC Article 590 requirements for temporary wiring. Always connect to a GFCI-protected circuit when used in wet or outdoor locations. Inspect the cord jacket and molded devices before each use and remove from service if cuts, cracks, or exposed conductors are present. Do not exceed the 15-amp circuit rating or daisy-chain multiple string lights beyond the capacity of the branch circuit.
