The GIBRALTAR ST4-22-G is an equal double threaded stud with a 3/4-10 thread size and an overall length of 2.25 inches. It is machined from 1117 grade carbon steel and finished in black oxide for corrosion resistance in typical indoor or light-duty service environments. This stud accepts threading from both ends in left and right directions, making it suitable for tension and clamping assemblies where a fixed fastener anchor is required. Machinists, millwrights, maintenance technicians, and mechanical contractors install this type of hardware in structural, mechanical, and equipment mounting applications.
This stud is used in general industrial and mechanical assembly work where a threaded rod anchor is needed between two components. Common applications include machinery bases, bracket mounting, equipment frames, and structural tie-rod assemblies. The equal-length threaded ends allow balanced engagement on both sides of a joint. It is sold individually and is suitable for both shop fabrication and field maintenance work across commercial and industrial settings.
Designed as a standard 3/4-10 UNC equal double threaded stud for use with matching hex nuts, coupling nuts, and threaded inserts in general mechanical and structural fastening assemblies.
Installation is performed by machinists, millwrights, or maintenance technicians using standard hand or power tools rated for 3/4-10 fasteners. Ensure mating threads are clean and free of debris before engagement. Verify thread engagement depth meets the requirements of the assembly design before applying load. De-energize and lock out any machinery before installing or removing studs in live equipment.
