The GIBRALTAR SP20507 is a fixed lifting eye bolt with a shoulder, designed for rigging and load-lifting applications in industrial, construction, and maintenance environments. Built from Grade C-1035 steel with a hot dipped galvanized finish, this eye bolt delivers corrosion resistance alongside a rated lifting capacity of 6,000 pounds. The 3/4-10 threaded shank is fully threaded at 3 inches in length, providing consistent thread engagement across the full shank. The shoulder design helps control lateral loading and provides a bearing surface against the mounting structure. Licensed riggers, millwrights, and maintenance mechanics are the primary installers of this hardware.
This eye bolt is suited for overhead lifting, tie-down, and pull applications where a fixed, shouldered anchor point is required. Typical use cases include machinery installation, structural steel erection, rigging in manufacturing facilities, and load-securing operations. The hot dipped galvanized finish makes it appropriate for both indoor and outdoor environments where moisture exposure is a concern. It is sold individually and is compatible with standard 3/4-10 threaded fastener hardware.
Designed for use with standard 3/4-10 threaded connections in rigging, lifting, and tie-down assemblies. Verify that the mating structure and hardware are rated to meet or exceed the 6,000 lb lifting capacity before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified rigger or mechanic familiar with ASME B30.26 standards for rigging hardware. Thread the eye bolt fully until the shoulder seats flush and firm against the mounting surface before applying any load. Never side-load a fixed eye bolt beyond its rated in-line capacity, and inspect threads and the eye for deformation or corrosion before each use. De-energize or immobilize any associated equipment before installing or removing lifting hardware.
