The GIBRALTAR PSS12352GB is a fixed lifting eye bolt designed for vertical lift applications requiring a secure, corrosion-resistant anchor point. Rated at 3,440 pounds lifting capacity, this eye bolt is constructed from Grade 304 stainless steel, making it suitable for wet, marine, or chemically exposed environments. It features a partially threaded shank measuring 6 inches in length with a 2.25-inch thread length and a 5/8-inch thread size. The fixed-eye design provides a non-swiveling attachment point and is sold without a shoulder, intended for applications where a flush or through-hole mount is appropriate. Riggers, millwrights, and maintenance technicians are the typical installers.
This eye bolt is used in industrial, commercial, and marine rigging applications where a permanent or semi-permanent overhead or structural lift point is required. The Grade 304 stainless steel construction resists rust and oxidation, making it a common choice for outdoor structures, food-processing environments, and coastal installations. The 5/8-inch thread size accommodates standard hardware in that thread class. The fixed eye orientation requires that the load be applied in line with the plane of the eye to maintain rated capacity.
Designed as a fixed lifting eye bolt for use with standard 5/8-inch threaded hardware in vertical rigging and anchoring applications. Consult applicable load ratings and rigging standards before specifying for a given application.
Installation should be performed by a qualified rigger or maintenance professional familiar with applicable ASME B30 rigging standards. Fully seat the eye bolt into the mounting surface so the eye bears flush against the substrate before applying any load. Because this is a fixed-eye design without a shoulder, off-axis or angular loading will significantly reduce working load limit and is not recommended. Always inspect threads, the eye ring, and the mounting surface for damage before each use.
