The GIBRALTAR MEP1135-G is a straight ejector pin used in injection mold tooling to push finished parts out of a mold cavity at the end of each cycle. It features a 9 mm pin diameter, a 310 mm pin length, and a 315 mm overall length. The pin is machined from steel and finished with a nitride coating, which improves surface hardness and wear resistance at the contact face. This type of component is installed and maintained by mold makers, tooling technicians, and die shop professionals working on production injection molds.
The MEP1135-G is suited for use in standard ejector plate assemblies on plastic injection molds. The 14 mm head diameter and 5 mm head height allow it to seat correctly in a standard ejector retainer plate pocket. It is a commonly stocked size for shops running medium-format molds where a 9 mm ejector pin diameter is called out on the mold design drawing. Single-piece packaging makes it straightforward to replace individual pins during mold repair or scheduled maintenance without purchasing a bulk pack.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or maintenance spare for injection mold ejector plate assemblies requiring a straight ejector pin with a 9 mm diameter and 315 mm overall length.
Installation is performed by qualified mold makers or tooling technicians. The mold must be fully cooled, de-pressurized, and removed from the press before ejector pin service begins. Pins should be inspected for straightness and surface condition before installation, and the ejector bore should be cleared of debris. Do not force a pin into a misaligned bore, as this can cause bore damage or premature pin failure.
