The GIBRALTAR LBT-135 is a quick-release pin with a T-handle designed for fast, tool-free insertion and removal in mechanical assemblies and industrial fixtures. The pin measures 3/8 inch in diameter with a usable length of 1.75 inches, making it suited for light-duty to medium-duty fastening applications where frequent disassembly is required. Constructed from 4130 alloy steel with a zinc-plated finish, the LBT-135 provides solid mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. Maintenance technicians, fabricators, and assembly line operators commonly install this type of pin in jigs, fixtures, gates, and equipment panels.
This quick-release pin is used in industrial and commercial settings where components need to be secured and released repeatedly without tools. Typical applications include machine guarding, material handling equipment, agricultural equipment linkages, and fabrication fixtures. The T-handle grip allows one-handed operation, reducing downtime during equipment changeovers or routine maintenance procedures. The inch-system sizing and standard 3/8 inch diameter make it compatible with a wide range of off-the-shelf hardware and fabricated assemblies.
Designed as a standard-dimension quick-release pin for use in mechanical assemblies, jigs, fixtures, and equipment panels requiring a 3/8 inch pin diameter and approximately 1.75 inches of usable engagement length.
Installation requires no special tools — align the pin with the mating hole and press until the spring-loaded detent engages to lock the pin in place. Ensure the mating hole diameter matches the 3/8 inch pin diameter and that usable length is sufficient for the material stack thickness before installation. Inspect the detent mechanism and spring function before each use in load-bearing or safety-critical applications. Removal is performed by pulling the T-handle while compressing the detent, then withdrawing the pin.
