The GIBRALTAR LBT-122 is a quick-release pin with a T-handle design, built for fast, tool-free insertion and removal in industrial and mechanical assembly applications. The pin measures 5/16 inches in diameter with 1 inch of usable length and is machined from 4130 alloy steel with a zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance. At 0.063 pounds, it is lightweight without sacrificing the structural integrity expected from 4130 steel. This pin is installed by maintenance technicians, machinists, and assembly line workers wherever a repeatable, hand-releasable fastening point is required.
The LBT-122 is suited for use in jigs, fixtures, machine guarding, tooling setups, and equipment panels where frequent access or adjustment is needed. The T-handle provides a secure grip for quick actuation without tools. It is appropriate for light-duty industrial environments, fabrication shops, and mechanical assemblies that require reliable positioning pins in an inch-measurement system.
Designed as a standard inch-system quick-release pin for use in jigs, fixtures, tooling, and mechanical assemblies requiring a 5/16 inch diameter positioning pin with 1 inch of usable engagement length.
Installation is performed by hand without special tools. Verify that the receiving hole diameter matches the 5/16 inch pin diameter and that the usable length is sufficient for full engagement before use. Inspect the release mechanism and pin body for wear or deformation before each use in load-bearing or safety-critical applications. Follow all applicable machinery safety and lockout/tagout procedures when installing or removing pins from powered equipment.
