The GIBRALTAR HEP3724-G is a straight ejector pin used in injection mold tooling and die casting applications. It transfers ejection force to push finished parts out of a mold cavity at the end of each cycle. Machined from steel for durability under repeated cycling loads, this pin measures 15/32 inches in diameter with an overall length of 18 inches. The headed design — 3/4 inch head diameter and 1/4 inch head height — seats securely in ejector plates and retainer assemblies. Moldmakers, toolroom machinists, and die maintenance technicians are the primary installers of this component.
This ejector pin is suited for use in injection mold bases, compression molds, and die cast tooling where a standard straight pin configuration is required. The 18-inch overall length accommodates deep mold setups or applications where extended reach is necessary. Its steel construction handles the compressive and shear stresses common in high-cycle production tooling. Sold individually, it is a direct replacement component for worn or damaged pins in existing ejector assemblies.
Designed as a direct-replacement straight ejector pin for injection mold bases, die cast tooling, and compression mold assemblies requiring a 15/32 inch pin diameter and 18 inch overall length.
Installation is performed by toolroom machinists or mold maintenance technicians. The mold should be fully de-energized, cooled, and removed from the press before ejector pin service begins. Pins must be inserted and seated squarely in the ejector retainer plate to prevent binding or deflection during cycling. Verify pin-to-bore clearance against tooling drawings before final assembly.
