The GIBRALTAR GPGEB-601 is a guided ejector die mold straight bushing manufactured from solid bronze. It is designed for use in injection mold and die tooling assemblies where precise ejector pin guidance is required. The bushing features a press-fit attachment method and a self-lubricating construction, eliminating the need for external lubrication during normal operation. With an inside diameter of 0.876 inches and a body diameter of 1.2505 inches, this bushing provides accurate pin alignment and consistent ejection performance. Tool and die makers, moldmakers, and precision machining shops install this component during mold builds or as a replacement in existing tooling.
This bushing is suited for use in plastic injection molds, die cast tooling, and stamping die assemblies where guided ejection systems are employed. The straight bushing profile accommodates standard ejector pin layouts in both prototype and production mold bases. Its solid bronze construction is well-regarded in tooling applications that demand dimensional stability and low-friction operation over high cycle counts. Single-piece packaging makes it practical for maintenance and repair jobs requiring individual component replacement.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-build component for guided ejector systems in die mold tooling assemblies requiring a press-fit straight bushing with a 0.876-inch inside diameter and 1.2505-inch body diameter.
Installation is performed by qualified tool and die makers or moldmakers using a press or arbor press to achieve proper press-fit seating in the mold base bore. Ensure the receiving bore is clean, within specified tolerances, and free of burrs before pressing the bushing into position. Do not hammer the bushing directly without a proper driver to avoid distortion. Inspect alignment with the mating ejector pin before returning the mold to service.
