The GIBRALTAR GIB53113 is a round U-bolt designed to secure 4-inch pipe in mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC piping systems. Manufactured from C-1010 steel with a hot galvanized finish, it resists corrosion in both indoor and outdoor installations. The bolt features a 1/2-13 UNC thread size with a 1.5-inch thread length and an overall length of 6 inches. The 4.5-inch width accommodates standard 4-inch pipe OD. Two nuts are included. This U-bolt is installed without a mount plate, making it suitable for applications where the fastener is anchored directly to structural steel, strut channel, or framing. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC mechanics are the typical installers.
