The GIBRALTAR GIB53032 is a round U-bolt designed to secure pipe to structural supports in mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC piping systems. Built from C-1010 steel with a hot galvanized finish, this fastener resists corrosion in exposed or damp service environments. It carries a 1/4-20 UNC thread with a 1-3/8 inch thread length and an overall length of 3 inches. Width across the inside of the bend measures 1-3/4 inches, sized to fit 1-1/4 inch pipe. Two nuts are included. The unit ships without a mount plate. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC mechanics use this type of fastener for pipe support and hanging applications.
