The GIBRALTAR G10-2300BM is a pointer-style control knob designed for use on shafts and control assemblies in industrial, HVAC, and electrical panel applications. It features a 1.219-inch outer diameter and stands 0.625 inches high, with a bore sized at 0.656 inches (21/32) to accept standard shafts. The hole depth measures 0.5 inches, and the set screw sits 0.281 inches (9/32) from the bottom of the hub, providing a secure, low-profile grip on the shaft. The PH-style insert configuration makes this knob suitable for precise indicator positioning on controls and panels.
This knob is commonly used in residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, electrical enclosures, and instrumentation panels where a pointer-style indicator is needed on a rotary shaft. It suits applications where a visible directional indicator aids in reading control positions. The 0.5-inch hole depth accommodates typical short-shaft configurations found in thermostat controls, selector switches, and similar panel-mount devices. Licensed trades and instrument technicians install this component during equipment assembly or service.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation pointer control knob for rotary shaft assemblies in HVAC controls, electrical panels, and instrumentation equipment.
De-energize all electrical circuits before removing or installing control knobs on live panels. Seat the knob fully onto the shaft before tightening the set screw to prevent shaft damage. A standard hex key is typically required to tighten the set screw. Follow applicable NEC guidelines when working inside electrical enclosures.
