It features a 1.5-inch hole diameter, a 0.75-inch rod diameter, and a free length of 2.5 inches. Wound from chromium alloy steel with a trapezoidal wire shape, this spring delivers a maximum deflection load of 749 pounds and a maximum deflection of 1.02 inches. The blue color coding identifies its medium-duty rating at a glance, making selection and inventory management straightforward on the shop floor. This die spring is suited for use in hydraulic press tooling, progressive die sets, and injection mold assemblies where consistent, repeatable force is required across production cycles. Die spring installation and replacement should be performed by qualified tool and die technicians with the press or tooling machine fully de-energized, de-pressurized, and locked out per applicable OSHA lockout-tagout procedures. Do not compress the spring beyond its rated maximum deflection of 1.02 inches, as exceeding travel limits will reduce service life and can cause premature failure.
