The GIBRALTAR BE-1069 is a die mold ejector blade designed for use in injection mold tooling applications. This blade controls the ejection of molded parts from the die cavity during the production cycle. At 0.094 inches thick and 0.609 inches wide, with an overall height of 10.5 inches, it delivers consistent dimensional tolerances expected in precision mold components. Mold technicians and toolroom machinists install these blades as part of the ejector system to ensure clean, repeatable part release without damage to the molded surface.
Ejector blades of this profile are used in plastic injection molds and die casting tooling where flat, rectangular ejector geometry is required. The BE-1069 is suited for applications where a standard round ejector pin cannot provide adequate contact area for part release. This blade is packaged individually and is appropriate for maintenance, repair, and overhaul of existing mold sets as well as new tooling builds.
Designed as a replacement ejector blade for die mold tooling systems requiring a 0.094-inch-thick by 0.609-inch-wide blade profile. Verify pocket and plate dimensions against your specific mold base before installation.
Installation is performed by qualified mold technicians or toolroom machinists. Before removing or replacing ejector blades, fully de-energize the press and lock out the injection molding machine per facility lockout/tagout procedures. Verify blade length, width, and thickness against the mold drawing before pressing the blade into the ejector retainer plate. Improper blade fit can cause blade breakage, part damage, or mold damage.
