The GIBRALTAR BE-1060 is a die mold ejector blade designed for use in injection mold tooling and die casting operations. Ejector blades transmit the force needed to push molded parts out of the cavity after each cycle. The BE-1060 measures 0.0620 inches in blade thickness and 0.3590 inches in blade width, with an overall height of 10.5 inches. These dimensions make it suitable for slots and passages where round ejector pins cannot provide adequate contact geometry. Mold builders and toolroom machinists are the primary installers of this component.
Ejector blades are used in production tooling for plastic injection molds and die cast dies, particularly where part geometry requires a flat, elongated ejection contact surface rather than a round pin. The BE-1060 fits tooling applications that require a blade profile at 0.0620-inch thickness across a 0.3590-inch width. It is sold individually and is a direct replacement or spare component for worn or damaged blades in existing mold plates.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement ejector blade for use in injection mold and die cast tooling that requires a flat blade profile at 0.0620-inch thickness and 0.3590-inch width.
Ejector blades are installed by mold builders or toolroom machinists during mold assembly or scheduled maintenance. The mold should be fully de-energized, cooled, and locked out before any ejector system disassembly. Blades should be inspected for proper fit within the retainer plate slot before cycling the mold under power. Verify blade length against the ejector stroke specification for the mold before trimming or pressing into service.
